The Lake Street
Manor
Originally a Michigan lumber baron in the 1800's, the manor has been a private residence for most of its history. Large bays and a high peaked roof with gingerbread trim are unique features of this brick manor house. The grindstone and brick were quarried and fired locally. The manor was opened as a Michigan "thumb" bed and breakfast in 1986.

"This B&B offers pavilions, games, bikes and bbq's on the grounds of the estate.
They are justly famous for their muffin recipe."
